I hope someone less creepy "will take us home"
Matt & Kim

I felt it was appropriate to take one of their songs and use it for the title of this heading because the story centers around them. So on sunday I went to a Matt & Kim concert with my roommate. We got there 2 hours early to wait in line for a front row spot. We met Matt & Kim but I was nervous and didn't know what to do, so I did not take a picture with them. I regret it everyday. My roommate Catalina Roldan, did take a picture with Matt. Anyways the concert was AMAZING! afterwards they were giving the crowd all the stuff that matt and kim touched, and forgot one drumstick. So I was like "lean over the fence and get the stick." So Cat leans over to get the stick and out of nowhere security grabs her. They start cussing and throw her out of the building, while threatening to put her in jail. On one hand, we were pleased with security's reactiveness, on the other hand, it was a drum stick. There was no need to get hostile. We then missed our bus and had to wait for the next bus. The only problem with this is that if we missed the train then we would have to wait until 1 in the morning to leave Chicago. So we get off and sprint to the train station, and we make our train. We arrive in Gary, Indiana, which is where Michael Jackson was born, and one of the most dangerous cities in america. Before we even went to Chicago, Catalina's mom said that if someone asks us for change say no because they will rob you. Well at the train station it is just me and Cat waiting on our ride when this guy walks in jingling change. He asked us if we had change. I freaked out i was like "NO I DON'T HAVE ANY CHANGE, WE DON'T HAVE ANY CHANGE." I don't think I yelled it but Cat says I did. I was scared because my ipod and cell phone we on the bench and he was eyeing them. He kept walking by us and that made me even more nervous, and finally when he had his back turned I slid them in my pockets. He then tries to offer us a ride. (Our ride got lost and was in the wrong city so she was no where near us. she told us to take a cab). He told us he would be cheaper than a cab and kept asking us where we lived. Well right on time, the cab arrived and drove  us about 15 miles up the road to our friend. He charged us $40. Then we made it back to the campus safely. I am so grateful to be alive right now because he definitely could have kidnapped us and had us gang raped. I am so thankful for God protecting me.

Tonight "We The Kings" are performing on campus for free. I LOVE WE THE KINGS! instead of going, guess what I will be doing. Listening to some boring as volleyball game so I can give the highlights on the campus radio. I am sooo pissed. Like I seriously am like fml.

Last night me and Cat went and saw Resident Evil Afterlife. It was AMAZING! Milla Jovovich is soooo badass. I kinda want to be her when I grow up. I of course was hopped up on four shots of expresso, so I was wired. I did not tell you guys about the last time I had four shots of expresso. Well it was ridiculous. Like it was worse than me being drunk. If you have ever seen me drunk, you could only imagine how bad it was. And Cat stole a whole pack of toilet seat covers from the cinemark bathroom. I was like ummmm....okay. She was like it is so you don't get syphillis from the toilet. I was like thanks but I never sit on public toilets anyway.

Anyways we had to walk back to the dorms from the theater at like 12:30am it was really scary. For some reason Cat is deathly afraid of zombies. I am like you know they do not exist right. She was like yea I know but still.

Val-pour-rain-snow

Valparaiso weather attacks me like "Lions" attack prey

Why am I never appropriately dressed for the weather. So Valparaiso (pronounced val-puh-raise-zo) is nicknamed val-pour-rain-snow and I did not know it. I have worn a cute skirt exactly two times and each time I wore it, it was so windy it blew my skirt up. I was like ok it is not a big deal, I am ok. Then I always bring a jacket to class and it is scalding hot, the one day that I do not bring one, it is so cold I can barely walk. I am starting to think that Valparaiso is out to get me.

I am playing a campus wide game of humans vs. zombies and it is scary. Like I am still a human but there is so many zombies now, that it is hard to remain a human. My roommate has unfortunate been turned into a zombie, which makes it really awkward when we leave safety zones. I never know if she is going to attack me. She has been good about protecting me though.

Someone left me a little message outside of Lankenau. I think it might be a frisbee girl but I am not quite sure. The message said "Christal Jackson we are watching you." That is creepy! I want them to know that they do not have to confess because I am looking for them and I will find them!

So my room is really crappy and small. The tuition here is really expensive but I do not know where our money goes. Like the classrooms have crappy desks that are wooden and squeak when you move. The dorms have pull out beds. No air. small closets and it is just crappy. Here are some pics.

So I did my hair for the first time this weekend. It was not great. I was shedding like an animal. I could not straighten the back of my hair. When I blow dried it, it was so puffy it was ridiculous. Thank God Tiffany was here to do my hair. This is me after I quit trying to do my hair.

Every night me and Cat stay up until like 2 in the morning and then still have to get up for 8 am classes. well I woke up at 8:04 and I was like fml, I am late. So I left my room and ran all the way to Mueller Hall, by the time I got there it was 8:15. my professor was giving me a death glare and the class was like why the fuck are you late it is only the second time meeting in this class. So I death glared back and took a seat.

So I had ultimate frisbee practice yesterday. It was great! afterwards we did a team dinner and went to Erika and Ariel's room. We were supposed to study but we ended up playing around during all that time. Then we went to Liz's apartment with other frisbee girls and we had a frisbee cake party. It was tons of fun. Imagine two cakes and 12 girls armed with forks. It was like sudden death trying to get some cake. So this girl named Amy was like if you want a guy with good thrust power get a diver. She was like diver's are the only one's who know how to thrust. so just an fyi if you want a man with thrust power get a diver.


Now on to today's events

So we went to walmart at 12 in the morning and had kart races. It was sooo much fun. i think Ariel and David Karl got first. Then Pedula (however you spell his name) and Claire got second. Then me and Cat got third. and Scott and Amy got last. Lots of people stopped and watched us race. Like we were so wired and making a lot of noise. Then the manager of walmart comes outside and was like I never want to see this again. I was like run for it. I mean the lady was chubby and waddled to us. she never would have caught us.

Then we went to the apartments for a party. Can you say beer pong? yes I played beer pong tonight. no I did not win. On the plus side the lemonade vodka I had was AMAZING! Don't judge. I said I was quitting and I am. Like I only had one shot and the vodka was so weak it was like drinking kool aid. Anyways gotta love college parties. Then we played ultimate frisbe until like 2:30. I then went back to my dorm at 3. Here I am at 4 telling you all about it.
